Missionary Pictures

We finally! finished our part of Travis' missionary pictures. We added the first picture and signed the final things this morning and turned them over to the bishop. I hope that it doesn't list what time we finished as it was about 2:00 am after he got done with work. Definitely not missionary hours!

Travis is still working hard and now taking a temple preparation class. It is very exciting to think that we will be able to share the temple with him in a short time. What a great thing to look forward to! I still can't do the ending part of the temple ceremony without crying as those blessings are so special to me. Guess Travis will have to get used to the fact that his mom cries in the temple too. He is training to be the store assistant manager and has been ordering all of the supplies that they need.

Caleb bought a new gigantic lizard called a bearded dragon. It likes to sit on his shoulder and give us all scary looks. I hope that it does not decide that his ear looks tasty like his bird does. He has decided to buy a new laptop and is picking up hours from anyone that he can so that he has enough this paycheck. He can get his driver's license in about 10 days and is not too excited about it.

Erin is busy learning new songs for her next choir concert. She is going to be in concert choir next year. She is also excited that she gets to start taking Seminary next year. They started doing registration this last week and she can't decide on what classes to take next year. She wanted to take biology block but that means she would have to take early morning seminary, if they end up offering it. She is pretty mad at me because I told her I would not drive her. Now she can't take the block. I don't have a picture of her in her costume yet because I have misplaced my camera. She says to say that she has a pretty boring life and that is why I don't have anything to say about her.

Phil is still working hard, same old same old. He has three days off this week and will enjoy sleeping as much as he can. With 5 years to catch up on, three days is not going to make a huge difference. He "bicked" his head and is now bald. He likes doing it because he does not have to brush his hair or worry about how long it is for a few months.

I am working hard. I thought that I was going to have to serve jury duty this week, but the trial was canceled. That is the second time that has happened for me this past couple of months. I almost wish the trial I am called for will just go so that I can get my turn over with, but I can't be stuck on something that is several months long either. I have a new favorite store called Walgreens. They are very coupon friendly and have sales that match up with the coupons and I end up getting things very cheap or free much of the time. We have all the Easter candy that we are going to buy and only paid about $3.00 for it. This week I am working to restock our year's supply of body soap. I should get it all free or get paid to bring it home so if I can just find the stores that have it in stock I should be good. We have two stores within 5 minutes of us at home and three within 5 minutes at work so it should not be too hard. I told Erin that I get a "high" from finding good deals. She thought that was just weird, but she enjoys all the free makeup and candy that I get for her. My CPAP and I have learned to get along and I don't feel like I am drowning or suffocating anymore. I can't believe how nice it is to be awake during the day and not feel like there is a pillow between my ears. Definitely worth fighting the machine for a week or so.

I wanted to put pictures of Caleb and Erin in here but they didn't think their school pictures turned out good this year and so they don't want them on our blog or anywhere else either. When they come to work with me they complain that I have "old" pictures of them, so maybe I will try to sneak some when they don't know.

I love Travis'pictures. They are so cool. He definietly looks like a missionary. I will definitely have to start shopping more at Walgreens. I knew I could get good deals but not that great. Glad the sleep is doing better for you. Loved the blog. Can't wait to see those pictures of Erin and Caleb.

Nice pictures of Travis. He is growing up way to fast. Tell Eryn and Caleb that we need to see pictures of them too. Thanks for the shopping tip. I just went to Walgreens Saturday. I need to do more with the Refund Cents you got me and get even better.
