A Week and Two Days to Go

Wow, four months went by fast! (Who am I kidding, I remember him being born just yesterday! It can't have been 19 years already)

We have a week and a couple of days before Travis enters the MTC. I think that we have almost everything done. We spent hours and hours in lines today to extend his driver's license, get his last cavities filled, get a copy of his imunization record, get his bank account fixed to work in Mexico and get his car fixed. Hopefully that is it. We have a couple more things to buy and then we are done. It is a nice feeling to almost have him finished with the preparation stuff.

He will probably bear his testimony in the Spanish branch Sunday. Their sacrament meeting starts at 9:00, we are going to ask the Stake President if we can be excused after he does that so that we can be at our church to meet anyone that comes to hear him speak in our ward. Our sacrament meeting starts at 10:30 am. Our church is located at this address: 600 South 100 West, American Fork, UT.

That link should get you to a map of where to find the chapel. Our home address is 254 South 360 West (Chadwick Circle) if that helps you to find it.

We have been asked to stay for all of church so come and we will help you get where you need to be. They will even be happy to have the children in Primary and the youth in YM and YW. I think that I should be able to come to Relief Society with the ladies so I am excited about that.

We will have lunch at the Senior Citizen center after the meetings. It's address is 54 East Main Street in American Fork. The best parking is behind the building, and that is probably the easiest door to come in. We would love to see you there too.

Caleb and Erin started school today. Erin is in 9th grade but still at the Junior High. She likes being the oldest at the school and is looking forward to being in High School (a little). She missed the try outs for the soccer team (she thinks) and is sort of sad about that. She belongs to a choir that gets to travel and perform. She is the class president and gets to lead warm ups, take roll, check costumes and all kinds of fun things so she is looking forward to that.

Caleb will be a Junior and has a pet care class. They learn how to care for feeder animals (crickets, cockroaches, mice and rats) and then care for a few of the animals in the pet trade and learn rules and regulations for working in the pet trade. He is excited for that one. He had the same teacher for his floral design class so they are good friends already. I don't know if it will be much of a challenge for him as he already has all of the pets that they take care of, but maybe his zoo at home will get him extra credit. We finally got his driver's license last week, but he still does not want to drive. He has Spanish 4 this year, that should be fun as he already speaks it like a native. He won't have to take Senior English since he is taking this class so that will allow him to take something fun next year. He is looking forward to Seminary again this year. I think he said that they are studying the New Testament so he and Erin can enjoy that together.

We love you all and can't wait to see those of you that can come on Sunday!
